I was set the challenge by Nicce to wear one of their basic tees three ways; dressed down, dressed up and to the gym. For me, finding a basic tee that actually fits properly can be a challenge in itself! So I was both relieved and excited when I tried on the Nicce basic tee and it was a true size medium! I have to admit the challenge wasn’t really a challenge at all, because the t-shirt fit perfectly and was so easy and comfortable to wear, as well as being versatile! (I mean, what doesn’t go with a black tee?)

Dressed down

This was definitely the easiest part of the challenge! Going shopping, to the cinemas or having a coffee with a friend – whatever you’re doing, throw on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans and you’re done! I wore this t-shirt on one of the hottest days we’ve had this summer, so I teamed it with my dusty pink Next shorts and my Ray-Ban sunglasses and I was ready to go.

Quick tip: To instantly change the look of your tee and your entire outfit, just roll the sleeves up!

Dressed up

The cooler months are my favourite, because I love layering clothing to create my outfits. In the summer this can be challenging and sometimes impossible, but I wore my short sleeve, pin-striped H&M shirt to meet my friend for drinks. The monochrome shirt partnered perfectly with the all black tee!

Working out

I don’t exactly have arms like Arnie, but I hate it when a t-shirt doesn’t fit properly on my arms. I go to the gym a lot and when I wear a tee with loose or baggy sleeves it makes me look like I’ve never even stepped foot in a gym! Luckily, the Nicce t-shirt doesn’t feature tent-like sleeves, so I was confident walking into the gym and I was surprised how lightweight and breathable it was, to say it isn’t technically a gym top!
